The Spun Polypropylene filters use a graded density to trap sediment particles. Larger particles of sediment entering the filter will be trapped on the outside of the filter media while the smaller particles become trapped deeper inside the filter cartridge. This graded density method greatly increases the effective surface area of the filter cartridge which prolongs the useful life of the cartridge itself.
Commonly called "Spun Polypropylene" or "Melt Blown," or just Sediment, these Filter Cartridges are rapidly becoming the Industry Standard for Filtration
Spun Poly Filters are an economical solution to pre-filtration for many applications. They are used widely as pre-filtration for RO systems and post-filtration for GAC filters.
Spun Poly filters are also used in applications such as Ice Machines, Drinking Water Systems, Film Processing, Beverage, Coffee, Analytical, Wineries and many others.
Will fit Pentek, Ametek, US Filter, Flowmatic, Watts, TGI, American Plumber, GE, Culligan and and most other brands of filter housings that require industry standard filter cartridges.
Micron Sizes: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 (1 micron filtering out the finest particulate)
